We have recently opened a new hob salon branch in camden and we require a creative director to lead and inspire a team of stylists.
The role of creative director requires the ability and experience of working at the highest artistic level, combined with leadership qualities and educational skills. This position is directly responsible to hob salons and will work closely with the international creative director for hob salons to educate and train the salon's creative team.
Each member of the salon's creative team will have one to one assessments and training with the creative director on all aspects of hair styling, stage and photographic work, public speaking and on-camera application. These assessments are to be carried out on a bi-monthly basis and all standards reached will be reported to the company creative director.
At times when either some or all of the salon's creative team are working outside of the salon, the creative director will be in attendance and responsible for their work. Prior to any show, shoot or T.V appearance the creative director will work closely with the company creative director to choose the appropriate team member. That team member will then work with the creative director to achieve the desired finished look, through mood boards and model practices.
The creative director will also carry out team duties depending on requirements and will be part of the general training team for all the salon team of senior, graduate and assistant stylists.
The creative director will progress all the teams artistic performance and will liaise with the creative director/assistant trainer.
Additional roles and responsibilities include:
• Ensure your, and the salon’s creative team’s actions reduce risks to health and safety.
• Promote additional hob salon products and services to clients.
• Provide hairdressing consultation services.
• Support customer service improvements
• Contribute to the financial effectiveness of the business
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of hob salon promotional activities.
