Redken Color-certified salon under new ownership
Fashionistas with a finger on the industry pulse may be interested to hear that a Redken Color salon has been purchased by a new owner.
According to the Record Searchlight, Kutting Edge in Redding, California is now under the management of Pamela Jarvis.
The former employee of Studio S will take over the business, which offers colour by Redken-certified stylists, as well as top brand haircare products.
And what's more, Redken has recently launched the career of a budding stylist in Australia.
Anita Gray - who previously worked at Sugar Suite in New South Wales - won the Future Color competition hosted by the brand, meaning she will take an all expenses paid trip to New York during the Big Apple's fashion week and even do some styling for the couture extravaganza.
She told the Herald that it would be the first time she has left the country and is thrilled to be working alongside Redken artistic director Philip Barwick.
